I am a mechanical design engineer on Tesla’s high voltage distribution team, working on designing next-generation power distribution systems for our vehicles. Responsibilities include design of individual connectors/assemblies, integration of wire harnesses, and testing parts in lab to guarantee their reliability in the field.
Previously I received my B.S. and M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where I was Mechanical Subteam Lead of Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (CUAUV), and am passionate about immersing myself in the world of mechanical design and robotics.
As Mechanical Subteam Lead for CUAUV, I oversaw the yearly mechanical design of a pair of new autonomous submarines for the annual International RoboSub Competition. Responsibilities included coordinating recruitment of new members at the beginning of the year, facilitating design reviews of each team members components, and training members in the use of machine shop equipment to manufacture their parts in the spring; all the while designing my own subsection of the submarines.
In the past have interned at Honeybee Robotics in Pasadena, CA, where I designed, procured, and tested components for the Dragonfly New Frontiers mission proposal and also at Airbnb on their in house R&D team Samara.
